Synopsis

The protagonist faces off with Kim Seyun's grandfather, who reveals that the White Jade Kim family is obsessed with creating the strongest goblin, using their entire lineage. He plans to feed Seyun's goblin to Pecht if she doesn't meet his expectations, and dismisses the protagonist's concerns about her safety. Later, the grandfather questions the protagonist about Seyun's actions during the recent Peste attack and whether or not she truly defeated Kim Il-Jung, revealing his harsh standards for his granddaughter. The chapter ends with the grandfather still furious with the protagonist and his presence near Seyun.
