Synopsis

A military operation experiences a comms breakdown, coinciding with the emergence of a rogue student, Park Jinsung, who claims to have fabricated a heroic victory. This causes the team to panic, and retreat after a devastating attack by the rogue student that showcases a rare and terrifying steam-based ability. The chapter ends with the main characters recognizing the true danger posed by this student, and planning a strategic regrouping while attempting to rescue their wounded comrades.
