Synopsis

The chapter opens with a conversation about the boss's apparent resistance to the cold, despite his shabby clothes. The underlings’ conversations reveal their growing unease about their boss’s motivations, which they see as being beyond human. They observe his actions and demeanor, particularly his laughter, and start to believe he might truly be aiming to end the world, possibly by leading a dark organization. The underlings start worrying about his actions and if they can handle what he has planned.
