The chapter begins with the group encountering a horde of monsters enveloped in curses. They discover that these curses drain their stamina much faster and while they are able to initially fight, the curses prove too much to handle. They then realize that a powerful member, Daeho, has been defeated, and that they must deal with a much more difficult situation as the monsters begin to converge on another location and they are running out of options, making things significantly worse.
The group faces a large number of cursed monsters, and while they are initially able to handle the regular monsters, the curses are draining their stamina and becoming a larger problem. They realize that one of their strongest members has been defeated and must face a much bigger threat.
