Synopsis

The chapter opens with the main character, focused on studying for the civil servant exam, traveling on a train alongside companions aiming to be a knight. Their journey is interrupted when the train inexplicably stops, and a goblin is found collapsed. It's quickly revealed that the train has been ambushed by goblin thieves, prompting the protagonist to leave the group and assess the danger while his companions flee to safety. The chapter ends with the protagonist entering the conflict while the others escape to the back of the train.
