Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist being denied a dorm room despite being a trainee, and a fellow trainee offers him temporary lodging. Later, while exploring, they discover thieves trying to steal a Golden Goddess Statue, which is heavily protected by magic. The protagonist attempts to intervene and is wrongly accused of theft, leading to a chaotic chase. He reflects on his attempt to do good gone wrong and is surrounded by the people who think he is the thief.
