Synopsis

The protagonist, posing as a noble applicant for the civil service exam, discovers he's being monitored by the authorities, possibly due to his mysterious background. Meanwhile, a notorious thief known as 'Lupin' steals a powerful jewel and publicly announces his next target. This causes an uproar, putting the Knight Order and Finance Bureau into overdrive, creating a chaotic environment at the Finance Bureau where the protagonist is applying.
