Synopsis

The chapter begins with the aftermath of Denburg's departure, revealing he left behind a large number of demon beast corpses near his village, which required a lot of manpower to dismantle. Denburg’s letter explains his desire to pursue a civil servant job, having taken money from the vault and intending to use the beast corpses to offset this. Meanwhile, flashbacks reveal his family's warrior culture and Denburg's magical talents which he is not interested in. Despite his attempts to escape his family’s expectations, his eldest sister is hot on his trail.
