Synopsis

The protagonist learns that he's being monitored by multiple parties using mind control magic to deploy familiars. He researches this magic, then sets about obtaining low-level gear and scouting locations near his apartment, all while pretending to be oblivious to the surveillance. Simultaneously, a separate organization attempts to learn about a rival guild but is stonewalled by heavy restrictions on their information, leading them to instead redirect their focus on gathering intel about the protagonist, Jin Tae-Kyung.
