Synopsis

The chapter begins with the main character expressing regret for losing his temper, leading to an encounter with members of the Zhongnan Sect who are seeking retribution for an injury suffered by one of their own during a prior confrontation. The Zhongnan Sect, led by Gong Il-Hyuk and an Elder, accuses the main character of the injury, despite it arising from a chaotic scuffle, and demands a lockdown of the Jin family as retribution, showing blatant disregard for fairness and Murim norms. The Zhongnan Sect leverages its connections and perceived superiority in the Murim hierarchy to enforce their unfair demands, causing conflict.
