Synopsis

The chapter reveals Jang Cheon's warped interpretation of his master's teachings, using 'survival of the fittest' as justification for killing innocents. His master confronts him, realizing Jang Cheon has become a monster. The master tries to cripple him as punishment but Jang Cheon reveals he had expected this confrontation, and prepared a poisoned escape. Flashbacks detail the master taking in Jang Cheon as a disciple, but the disciple's violence was missed due to the master's negligence.
