Synopsis

The chapter opens with a blacksmith, Jang, who has retired, being pestered to make a weapon using incredibly rare 'Ten Millennia Cold Steel.' He initially refuses, setting ridiculous tasks like finding the herb of eternal youth and a bottle of crystalline oil. Eventually, due to the young man's persistence and the apparent rarity of a sensible person in Murim, Jang agrees to forge the spear, revealing he has enough of the metal to create a 'heavenly weapon' as he seems excited about this challenge despite previously stating he does not care about making weapons anymore.
