Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist encountering a Demon King who, despite being powerful, is under attack by a mercenary squad. The protagonist intervenes, surprising the Demon King, who reveals their name as Asmodeus' descendant. They form a temporary alliance, and the protagonist asks for help in finding Renee, but she reveals she has never heard of Hastin. Instead, she offers to help reach the nearest human settlement or use a teleportation hub.
