Synopsis

The chapter begins with discussions of powerful monsters and the enigmatic "Devourer", followed by the human captain being summoned for a meeting with Demon King Marmolia. Marmolia attempts to manipulate the captain into assassinating a demon king, Melje, under the guise of a simple request. The captain, however, recognizes that Marmolia is being chased and that Melje may be backed by a bigger power, prompting the captain to accept the dangerous mission.
