Synopsis

Garrote is found severely wounded after being attacked by a monster identified as the Devourer, an ancient calamity, and the characters realize the severity of the situation and the potential collapse of the empire. They discuss the monster's connection to a past warrior and the need for reinforcements while Devde, grappling with his past and true power, is on a mission to find Renee's corpse and encounters others at the auction site and shows his strength.
