Synopsis

The chapter begins with a high-stakes auction, which is then interrupted by a character claiming authority. Following this, a scene shift reveals a character, who seems to be involved in the fire incident from past chapters, freeing a homunculus named Rei, who was kept captive. He then ruthlessly interrogates and kills a guard to get information about a magic tower and its "wing." Finally, we end with a character named Mado who appears to have a warped perspective on the reason for violence.
