Mookhyang returns to his clan, where he confronts Han Joong Gil, his former comrade who betrayed him. Joong Gil confesses his jealousy and asks Mookhyang to kill him as a form of mercy. Meanwhile, the Heavenly Demon Clan initiates a ritual to unite their members. In a separate location, the Asu Blood Cult saves Sa Ma Yeom and proposes an alliance with Ingeol Jang to remove Mookhyang, initiating their own unholy ritual.
Mookhyang confronts his betrayer, Han Joong Gil, who seeks death and forgiveness. Meanwhile, the Asu Blood Cult plans to join forces with Mookhyang's enemies and initiate a ritual to remove him.
