Synopsis

The chapter opens with a feast where characters discuss food differences between the capital and countryside, then the conversation shifts to the failed uprising led by the second prince, Gale. One character hints at a deal related to investigating fake accounting. Meanwhile, a character named Ian discovers evidence suggesting tax fraud, alongside a letter from his mother. He also is starting to find out that he is able to use magic.
