Synopsis

Ian Brach, revealed to be Margrave's bastard son, is welcomed back and given a celebration. His knowledge of a rare flower called Sillask, which may be able to heal the dying Winchen, is revealed; however, he demands guaranteed safety and respect before sharing information, making a bargain. The chapter also touches on the use of Gurut leaves, and potentially breaking a treaty, which highlights a subplot of political maneuverings.
