Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist being absent from school, then transitions to them focusing on acquiring the necessary resources to address their poor vitality. They realize that they need to use their knowledge of future medicines to make tonics, but lack the equipment and funding. They attempt to rent a lab but are unsuccessful; they eventually find a secluded medicinal hall and rent its lab to make their first tonic successfully, gaining significant vitality.
