Synopsis

The chapter opens with a character seeking someone, then reveals that they divulged the location of the aurum mine to avoid being hunted, which creates a widespread frenzy and makes them worthless to those pursuing them. The chapter then shifts to an investigation of a brutal death by a 'monstrified' martial artist, revealing a dangerous organization is using such methods. The chapter ends with the main character discovering information on a powerful martial artist they inadvertently saved and deciding to avoid looking into such personal information, for the sake of their cultivation.
