Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist internally confirming that Ron isn't a spy, relieving their worries. The protagonist then reflects on their need to strengthen themselves to better handle the recoil from using Soul Energy and introduces their 'Bond of Darkness', a unique magic inherited from their master, used to ensure Ron and their sister's safety through a deadly pledge. The protagonist is also determined to get their sister Charlotte into the academy, despite her age, recognizing her immense talent, potentially even beyond mana, and seeks a way for her to enroll.
