Synopsis

Haran, reflecting on her life within the Tang Clan, declares her decision to leave it behind. Her grandaunt, Tang Gwiok, gives her a wedding ring, explaining its significance in controlling a Tang woman's spouse but stating she won't use it. She then reveals the clan will send assassins after Haran and Jin in 100 days unless Haran fixes her 'errors'. Despite the threat, they receive a way to escape and are told to find new clothes, then discuss bathing before they head out.
