Synopsis

After being captured, the protagonist and a martial artist from Mount Hua reach a tense agreement to cooperate. The protagonist, driven by a desire to uncover the Tang Clan's schemes related to the destruction of medicine sects, plans to use the marriage proposal to gain entry. The martial artist, initially resistant, agrees to the plan to fulfill her clan's orders and out of the desire to prove herself. The chapter ends with the protagonist and the martial artist negotiating their roles in the faux marriage.
