After a brutal battle, the Venom Dragon and the secret society reflect on their losses and their will to survive, with the Venom Dragon realizing his reason for fighting is now both revenge and protection. Meanwhile, the defeated Orthodox Murim Alliance struggles to come to terms with their loss against the Venom Dragon and the evil sect. The alliance's advisor, Mang Ryo, is then called away by a mysterious order from the Tang Clan, creating more uncertainty and intrigue.
