Synopsis

The chapter opens with an ambush that's revealed to be orchestrated by the Jaegal clan through hired bandits. It's then revealed the Jaegal Clan has been intentionally waiting, knowing the protagonist would be helped by a faction known as the "Unjust Faction". The Jaegal clan plans a massacre of the Southern Village, intending to frame the protagonist and his allies, using the rumors surrounding the protagonist to their advantage and solidify their position in Kangho. The chapter ends with the Jaegal clan preparing to enact their plan.
