Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist waking up after several days, having been rescued from the Poison Sect massacre by a man named Jang, who was looking for him. It's revealed that the protagonist was the sole survivor and is now responsible for Jang contracting a deadly horse-poison infection. The protagonist, feeling guilt and responsibility, resolves to find a cure, which leads him to a town under the watchful eye of the Murim Alliance and an encounter with those suspicious investigators. His inner strength appears uncontrollable.
