Synopsis

The chapter reveals that the creator of the Jade Cavern's Nine Illumination, Five Thunder Toad Art is imprisoned and should be sought out by the protagonist to complete his training. The protagonist also grapples with side effects of his current training and learns that the Toad Art originated from the Inferno Cult and their "Origin Tongue". Towards the end, he finally understands a crucial aspect of using his internal energy to carve the shells, by relying on the 'desperation' he felt during his survival in the mines. Lastly, he is taught the final lesson about Go and how it relates to his martial training.
