Synopsis

The sister returns, bringing her severely injured nephew to her brother, who initially refuses to help due to past trauma as a surgeon and a change in his beliefs. Despite this initial rejection, he does diagnose the nephew's condition and, after some urging, agrees to perform a risky surgery. The chapter ends with a dangerous foe, "Der Freischütz", attacking the group in the middle of their medical crisis, putting their lives in danger.
