Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist observing his opponent's seemingly basic sword techniques, misjudging them as unskilled. However, he soon finds himself struggling against his opponent's heavy and swift attacks, revealing his superior physical strength and unique fighting style. This forces the protagonist to re-evaluate his own approach, leading him to contemplate the mental and psychological aspects of combat and how the fear of death influences a battle, eventually pushing him to find a new way of fighting.
