Synopsis

The chapter begins by defining a concept called 'Omniscience' which is described as the unchanging physical quantity of an object, related to inertia and energy. The characters are then seen discussing a plan to lure and attack a large, presumably dangerous monster. One character, Althor, is conflicted, refusing to abandon Shirone who seems to be injured or incapacitated, despite the others' urgings. The chapter ends with the character internally contemplating how to defeat the monster, concluding that using photonization requires something related to gravity and symmetry disturbance.
