Geomuk initially tests Baek Ho-min by severely injuring him, then reveals he was suspicious of him not being a traitor from the start. Geomuk admits he kept beating Ho-min because he found it fun, but ultimately decides to train him for the tower's challenges. He then sends Baek Ho-min into a Mirror Room where he meets an alternate version of himself from a parallel world.
Baek Ho-min is beaten by Geomuk but later gains his trust, then is sent through a mirror room to a parallel world. He meets his alternate self.
