Synopsis

The chapter sees the protagonist encounter Ran, a sorcerer who knows his future and the disaster it might bring. She proposes a 'battle to see who will live longer' and offers her help. Meanwhile, a young man named Dan also emerges, swearing his loyalty to the protagonist as a knight. The chapter ends with the protagonist's group learning of the sorcerer's village and Ran reveals herself as the grandaughter of the old woman sorcerer.
