Synopsis

The chapter focuses on Deon's struggles with a curse while Dame Lianne worries about his health and investigates a suspicious church in the slums. Deon tries to hide his deteriorating condition while gathering intel, but ultimately has a violent reaction related to his affliction. Meanwhile, Lianne is constantly present and concerned with Deon's well-being, resulting in her following him when he tries to go alone to the church headquarters.
