Synopsis

The chapter begins with the group finding the Ark base deserted, rigged with runes that detonate upon magic use, suggesting a hasty retreat. They deduce the Ark left recently, intending to return. Later, they encounter mages at a school, one of whom, Woo Hwijae, showcases advanced mana-hiding runes, drawing the attention of Archmage Kim Chaemin. Finally, hunters, seemingly targeting the school and its students are seen preparing an attack while the heroes descend into a secret basement, implying an attempt to seize the children.
