Synopsis

After escaping confinement, the protagonist is convinced to become a rune teacher at a new hunter school by its director, who sees him as a valuable asset. He struggles with the idea, given his lack of mana, but eventually agrees, partially due to a desire to help the kids. The chapter reveals his past heroism and the director's manipulative tactics, and he begins his first day of teaching, showing a rune he learned long ago, while also pondering his future path.
