The chapter opens with a swordsman, seemingly named Ilghin, struggling against a powerful and insane monster, lamenting the inferiority of his free sword. Simultaneously, another character (Ilho) survives inside the monster by ripping through its stomach. Later, the monster reveals he is a god-like being and is furious, demanding more sacrifices from a corrupted Saintess to regain his true form. The Saintess spirals, asking for increasingly large sums of money and lives to fuel the god's power.
