Synopsis

The chapter opens with the King expressing remorse for his past actions and promising to prioritize the well-being of his people. He then manipulates the council into agreeing to exile Lee Sejwa to a harsh location, only to seemingly reverse his decision when questioned. He uses this as a pretense to challenge the councilors for their negligence in failing to address Mintae's cruelty and dismisses them. Finally, a mysterious figure arrives and is seemingly questioning the Queen about her past and the implications of the King's actions.
