Synopsis

Prince Jinseong visits Hyeminseo to find a cure for smallpox, where he meets So Janggeum, a medical student. They discover a book on smallpox and measles written long ago, potentially by Lim Wonjun but unfortunately he died long ago. They decide to visit Lim’s descendants to find his other writings on the disease, hoping to find a way to prevent it. Their visit to the author's family brings up the treacherous history of the family.
