Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist encountering information about a festival in Rondinium, celebrating the recovery of a God Blade by Archduke Ethan, which includes a duel competition for a powerful greatsword and entry into the Dragon Slayer Troop. Political threads are present as the protagonist learns that Williams, who negotiated with the Dragon Tribe, escaped serious punishment. The protagonist also senses a powerful and hidden presence during the festival that they compare to Count Marlec. Finally, the chapter introduces an Ardan card game and ends with the protagonist observing the start of the competition.
