Synopsis

This chapter reveals that Phase Shift, a powerful regeneration ability, has a critical flaw: it cannot restore memories, which was exploited by focusing attacks on the head. The chapter also reveals that the Spiritual Leader lost in a battle against Archduke Ardan, sending the organization into disarray. Faunce, seemingly a lower-ranking character, plans to engage the Archduke, aiming to use all his mana to exhaust the Archduke's, while his subordinates try to create an opening for a final attack.
