Synopsis

The chapter sees the Archduke commissioning the creation of powerful artifacts using top-quality mithril, requiring the assistance of a powerful but eccentric sorceress. Simultaneously, a Dwarf kingdom is unified, with a new king being crowned, and the Archduke is approached by the Dwarves to deal with a Royal Blacksmith who is working with the enemy. The Archduke proposes installing a more capable dwarf blacksmith in his place, recruiting a blacksmith, Popolance, who pledges his loyalty, and plans a meeting with Marquis Bloten to discuss the matter further.
