Synopsis

The chapter follows the Archduke's arrival in a town where the townsfolk are terrified of undead skeletons, and the Archduke suspects the skeletons are after a rare metal called Aphelion in an abandoned mine. Simultaneously, political intrigue unfolds back in the capital where factions are trying to manipulate the Archduke. The Archduke is concerned that the undead are controlled by a dark magician and possibly a lich, while factions back in the capital try to use him as a scapegoat.
