Synopsis

Following an unspecified attack, characters are seeking revenge, particularly against those involved. A new commander for the north-east is appointed, a position that seems designed to keep the character occupied in the region. A separate discussion involves naval expansion to deal with pirates, which ties into the larger political maneuvering, with the main character considering how these various situations can be used to his advantage. Finally, a character is confused as to why no pirates are in the current location, just before seeing a Queen.
