Synopsis

The chapter begins with a trade proposal, followed by the arrival of a man claiming to be Duke Aaron, who says he was killed and has now returned. He seeks an alliance to fight the Emperor. Simultaneously, the chapter details the difficulties of governing, specifically the lack of funds and soldiers. They uncover the Emperor's spies while trying to recruit soldiers, and ultimately receive a business proposal from a princess of a powerful trade nation.
