Synopsis

The chapter opens with a Jotun king offering himself in exchange for his people's safety, challenging the enemy to a duel to halt a massacre. A significant flashback then begins, showing a prior war and a conversation about the qualities of a good leader where a character is told that their worth is decided by themselves. The flashback transitions into the beginning of Ragnarok and the might of Thor, showing the protagonist's feelings of inadequacy compared to such a powerful being and what needs to be done to attain that power.
