Synopsis

Fermac, revealed to be a powerful shadow user and a key mastermind, is confronted by the protagonist who uses knowledge of Fermac's past and a pre-prepared sun rune field to counter his abilities. The protagonist then forces Fermac into a duel by revealing his knowledge of a commandment that compels him to accept, despite Fermac's desire to avoid attention and leave the city. The chapter also hints at the origins of the power used by the main characters in a flashback.
