Synopsis

The chapter revolves around the protagonist and their companions completing a trial, during which the protagonist undergoes a transformation as the spirit Nix merges with them to become Glacier. This merging is noted to have been triggered by the protagonist being in a crisis. After passing the trial and gaining a second spirit, a strange delayed notification from the game-like system they use, is noted to have an abnormal delay. The companions then begin to speculate and debate the nature of the system and the reason for its delay.
