Synopsis

The chapter opens with a chaotic scene as Gu Changge's allies worry about his safety after he rushed into a fire. It is then revealed that Gu Changge orchestrated the entire scenario, tricking an opponent into using a divine weapon which allows him to display his true strength, a demonic power far beyond his apparent level. He uses this to manipulate the situation, making himself seem vulnerable and garnering support from his allies, while successfully sowing discord between the ancient immortal clans and the outside cultivators. He also makes the Feather Clan the target of blame for the incident.
