Synopsis

Following the discovery of Bai Lie's corpse, the protagonist, Ye Ling, is falsely accused of his murder and labeled a demonic cultivator. The protagonist realizes it's a setup by an unknown enemy and decides to conceal his identity to avoid persecution. Meanwhile, Gu Changge is formally made the heir of the Daoist Immortal Palace and receives a powerful artifact. The chapter ends with a discussion among cultivators questioning the inconsistencies in the accusations against Ye Ling and reveals past connections to some prominent figures, further complicating the plot.
